IIRC, you have to match the flywheel up to your crankshaft. So you will need to match to the 04 engine.

haha thanks dude, lets forget that comment...

in other things, i go to autozone and check out clutch kit prices (duralast ) and i was looking to the clutch description and the clutch from the 95 v6 3.8 its the same description from tha 3.9 2004 v6

ext. diameter: 11''
int diameter: 1 1/16 sith 10 slots

and its the same shit....

infact.... the only difference between disc clutches from 95-04 is:
95-97 3.8 weight 26.2lbs
98-04 3.8 weight 26.35lbs
2004 3.9 weight 26.2lbs

with the same fuc#in shape, components and etc...

and in fact when i go to autozone asking for the clutch from a 95 they rtold me that was around 200dlls..... and when i asked for the 04 (also asked me if it was 2.8 or 3.9) they told me that was about 280dlls...

hahahaha and its the sameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee model!! look at this..

--clutch kit 2004 3.9 model NU1974 (weight 26.2)
Duralast/Clutch Set (NU1974) | AutoZone.com

--clutch kit 2004 3.8 model NU31402 (weight 36.35lbs)
Duralast/Clutch Set (NU31402) | 2004 Ford Mustang 6 Cylinders 4 3.8L SFI | AutoZone.com

--clutch kit 1995 3.8 model NU1974 (weight 26.2)
Duralast/Clutch Set (NU1974) | 1995 Ford Mustang 6 Cylinders 4 3.8L SFI | AutoZone.com

believe it or not.... ignorance make diferrece, knowledge make you save some bucks (: hahahaha

i will stay in contact!
