Car Not Getting Spark

So I'm fixing my girlfriends car and it cranks but will not start due to the fact that there is no spark. List reasons what could cause this please! I think its the damn anti-theft system the previous owner put in. Possibility?

Oh and its a 95 v6.

Then this.

Aftermarket security systems are garbage imo. I hear about them fucking up cars all the time and one time one of those stupid system even kept my dad's car from starting until it was removed.

i thought that the passive anti theft would let the car crank for a second then allow it to not crank and flash the theft light? assuming that there is a bypass module if an aftermarket alarm is installed check that. and check all your fuses and connections, and coil. are any cylinders getting spark?

When there is a PATS issue, then your car will crank and crank, but wont turn over because your car has disabled the fuel and the spark. See if you can pull any codes.

Here's an update for you guys:

It was not the anti-theft system. We disabled that. We are getting fuel but no spark. Spark plugs and wires were fine. Coil is fine. I now think its because I swapped a 96 motor into a 95 and used the 96 harness. There are little differences here and there so now I'm in the process of swapping in a 95 harness to see if that's the issue.

Just in case someone else has this same issue it was because I was using the 96 engine wire harness. Once I swapped on the 95 harness it started right up!
