04 Stock Drive Shaft to 8.8 Rear End (GT)?

Hey guys, if I wanted to swap the rear end on my sixxer, would I have to change the drive shaft also?

Your stock driveshaft will fit just fine.

So a 28 Spline can bolt up to a 31 Spline?

No you don't have to change the driveshaft, part of the driveshaft that connect to the rear end are 4 bolts that have nothing to do with the splines.

150-200 from a local junkyard, but there are guys on here who have gotten them for under 100 bucks

Yes, it will bolt up. On the price it depends, if you go to a U-Pull-It yard you can find it for as low as 45 bucks. That's what I paid for mine and hell when I open the girdle to check the gears they were 3.73! So I try to check one out close to you.
