Exhaust problems...?
When I drive, I hear a Huge loud annoying POP noise. it creeps me out.
I was thinking it was a Suspension, or some kind of Upper or lower Arm of some type popping. No problems there.. Next thing to check.. Exhaust is loose, I see a broken Exhaust Flange.. The two pipes, Are barely touching, so I have a huge exhaust leak, which explains why my car is louder than a normal stock sixxer.. AND, If I pull on my Y pipe.. It clicks REALLY LOUD and moves a bit side to side and keeps clicking REALLY LOUD.. its SO annoying while driving, it sounds like its falling off the car. I just want it fixed, My original plan was to replace with H pipe and Dual Exhaust, But I don't want performance; At least not from a sixxer.. Any idea's on what it could be? I could post a video tomorrow of me pulling on it and making the pop noise if that would help? x_x Oh and... 7 minutes into Nyan cat marathon. Driving my wife nuts FTW.

Not simple if you have no money and have to fix things yourself because you don't know a guy that works at an exhaust shop.
![]() I don't trust people to work on my car, Its my car; I should know how to fix it. That's how everyone should be..

let me put it this way...unless you have a way to cut out the old flange and weld in a new one it's gonna be cheaper to take it to an exhaust shop...unless they are just stripped out studs...then you'll need to either take them out with a wrench or if its the flange that connects to the manifold/exhaust then you'll have to press it out

you should take a picture because i know our cars are notorious for the passenger manifold to crack right at that flange... its happened to damn near everyone on this forum.
just take it to a shop and ask if they can weld it while its in the car i would say at most they should charge you $50 i got quoted $35 for mine when it was bad but i put longtubes on instead

Oh and when the car is running, it leaks water from where the flange is located.
