Springs...

I have a couple questions about springs. Is it better to buy lowering springs or cut stock springs. I have stock on now that the people before me cut too much off them and also used a torch. So they did it completly wrong... I was wondering if I should buy stock springs and cut them or buy lowering. Also at my local salvage yard they are going to charge me 80$ per pair, But when I went on eBay I found a set of 4 for 80$. So my question is has anyone bought these link springs before are they good or should I just bite the bullet and buy stock ones and cut them.
Thanks

honestly the only aftermarkets i'd buy are ford springs, eibachs, and H&R springs...then again my last two stangs ran cut and my new one will have them cut this month

btw better is a relative term on here

if you're not just cutting your own that you have now then i'd just order a set of a good brand...yes you'll have to pay double what you're looking at now but you'll be happier...now if your willing to cut what you have on the car now then by all means go the cut route..

also check CL...i always see stock springs for cheap on there

if your set on aftermarket springs check out LRS they have sve srpings for $99. 2" drop for v8s will be slightly less with v6s

It has cut springs right now. But the people who did it (previous owners) cut way too much off and they used a torch so its rough riding and way to low. I'm wanting to keep it lowered just not as much as it is now. So i'm looking to get stock ones and cut them or get lowering springs less than 160$ because that's what i can get stock ones for and just cut them.
