Long story short a friend of a friend isselling a 2000 mustang 3.8 5 speed car has 199k on it and doesn't have any real big problems from what I can tell he said he will give it to me for 1500 ..... All I want it is for is a DD nothing more my 96 is a fully built 3.8 s/c/:....... What do you guys think?

There's no ads or anything because it's a friends car and it was offered to me before they put it up for sale the reason it's being sold is because the guy that was drivin it doesn't have a legal lisence in the u.s and he for pulled over and now is in jail and needs the money to get out ..... The out side is clean and the interior is i would say in fair shape

well you say you have a fully built sc 3.8 (im guessing an m90)..

what does it consist of and put down...surely you've dyno'd it after building it

It has a Vortech 10 pounds of boost made 310rwhp ...... Internals are good for 20 psi says supersix but it needs to be intercooled or need to rum meth and it will hit 400 no problem

eh i think as a DD it'll work but at 200k miles you might be biting off more then you'll be happy with

if you're just wanting to garage the '96 for a while then it should be good

Well reason I'm askin is because I haven't really haven't delt with a 3.8 with that many miles on it didn't know how reliable they were at that kinda mileage ..... Just wanted some input that's all

If you know it's lived an easy, well maintained life, then I'd say go for it. For $1500 it will get you a couple of years
