Yer. It's especially a good pressure if you run in a hot climate and/or drive your car super hard all the time, which generates a lot of heat and raises tire pressure... I've been running this pressure for 25+ years, and it seems to have worked the best for me over the years, in terms of hooking, handling, tire wear... I've experimented with lower and higher; lower will hook better, but wear funny... and handle... depends how low you go. Too low and they get squishy and handling feel becomes vague and nervous.

Higher pressures are better for mpg, and probably provides the absolute best tire wear for normal driving with the majority of today's passenger car tires. The 35 you run is also a good choice.

I derive none of this information from being an expert; only from reading, and from real world experience... and from having bought lord knows how many sets of tires.

I can tell you that I am into my 4th summer on these tires here:

And I beat the ever loving shit out of my car. The rears JUST hit the wear bars a couple of weeks or so ago. I have put 40+ thousand miles on these tires, running 32 psi in them.

^that's impressive, KDW's are a pretty soft compound so they tend to wear a little faster, how often do you get them rotated?

Yeah I'll be honest with you, when I was writing that post, I began to write '4th summer'... and I had to stop and think, "Is it really that long?" (getting old sucks lol).... that's why I went and grabbed the picture, to read the exif data... sure enough, 4th summer. Now, mind you, the rears were damn low at the beginning of this summer, and the fronts are fairly cupped and feathered... I take a lot of twisty back roads home...

I've had them rotated once, at the beginning of their 3rd summer, so after 2 years, or about 20k miles.

I'd easily buy this rubber again. Don't know if I just got lucky, but they have lasted extremely well for a softer tire, yes. And, even with the rears down close to the wear bars, they were still pretty decent in the rain... but now that they are down at the wear bars, I do have to take it easy in the rain.

listemn hear. i put tires on for ppl for a job. for light cars like ours deffinatly go with what the majority said hear which is 35 psi. its a good rule of thumb to go 4-5 psi below the max psi. now most 4 ply tires are rated at 44 psi and sometimes depending on the brand is 51 psi and i know nitto has a 35psi tire, but with 44 we put around 40 in it for bigger heavier vehicle than our cars like a crossover or something of that sort. truck tires are a whole different story cuz of all the diffent plys u can get, but this is a car forum so go with 35 even if the max is 44, if the max is 35 then go 4 below. thats what i recommend

^ 4-5 psi below the max on most car tires would be 39-38 psi, not a very good rule of thumb. I too put tires on for a living, I work at Discount Tire. If you're not going off factory specs then the rule of thumb we use is:

32psi in car tires
35psi in crossovers, suvs, and small trucks
50-65psi in HD trucks (depends on d or e load range)

its on the sticker in your driver door. dont EVER run whats on the tire. thats for the maximum load the tire can take. 35 should be more than enough

At the OP, 35psi in your tires, the size difference makes no difference in the tire pressure you run.
WTF are you talking about. I have seen tires that have a max psi of 80 pound of air. And your cooked if you think the air pressure doesn't rise with the tire temp increase. Watch NASCAR man. Those tires start at 30ish pounds of air pressure and as the race goes on the pressure goes up so they compensate by starting the tires off with less air. Teenagers and their know it all atitudes. Get off mommys tit before you start giving advice.
