Ordering HID's...
Whats up guys? I wanna finally order some HID's. I was thinking about getting 6k, from what i hear thats a good ice blueish color, and seeing as my cars sonic blue, i do want them to have a noticable blue tint, but not be straight up blue. (If theres a different recomendations as far as "k" lemme know). Anyway, from what I hear DDMTuning.com is the place to order them. I'm just a little confused, knowing very little about HID's. I've heard good things about the Raptor Kit I think, if this is a good kit to go with, I need to know...
Wattage: Bulb Type: And do I need: HID Harness Error Code Eliminator Adaptor cables Mounting Brackets THANKS! -Jake. BTW, how hard is the install?

HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning
bulb type - 9007 (hi/lo depends on if you want hi and low beams, but it makes little difference between the two) Needed is everything that the raptor kit comes with except adaptor cables, and error code eliminator. the brackets would have helped greatly to me as i saw some nice places to mount them but did not because i didnt have the brackets. If you order the high/low they come with a harness and relay and everything so its basically plug and play.
Bulb type is 9007. Install is easy. |

9007, 35watts, 8k for that noticeable bluish tinge. DDM tuning raptor kit. Install is stupid proof. Trust me, I installed mine myself!

might be the connection to the positive side of my battery cable. i had to kind of rig it lol. i'll check that at some point. ik the grounds are good because they are the factory body grounding points and those are tight. if not i still have a warranty so no big deal.

I've tried both 35w and 55w and personally, I like 55s better...
Not only that it's a little brighter, but it evens out the light output with the fogs...

can you upgrade from 35w to 55w just by switching the ballasts?

I had no issues switching from 35 to 55 either...
6ER, is it legal to run fogs only instead of heads?
