Help..code p0153


Hey guys I'm having a few problems.

Code p0153 - o2 circut slow response (b2,s1)
what could be causing this?
and
My car is also idiling around 12-1500rpms after getting warmed up. Are these 2 problems related?

i had sort of the same problem.. Try replacing your front two(Up stream) o2 sensors.. This should do it.. The back 2 o2s are useless.. they just let your computer know that you have cats for inspection. Hope this helps.. They should cost 47.99 if you buy from auto zone..

i've already ordered a new sensor but could a malfunctioning o2 sensor be causing my high idle?

clean your iac and see if it fixes the high idle.

^done..still having high idle issues. It only happens after the car is warmed up though.

Yup... o2s will fix this... let me know after you put them in... i had the exact same problem, and the front o2s fixed it... if not try cleaning the MAF.. if anything seafoam her, and switch to all sythetic oil if your not already runnin with that..

I would put my money on the TPS as when mine started going out I would get and irratic idle speed until it started failing big time then it was a fast idle all the time.
