Nasty Grind Noise! What could it be???

Hoping someone may be able to help me out here...

I have a 2000 v6 mustang, the car just hit 100K miles and has driven fine for the past few months I have owned it, however the other day I experienced a little bogging on the highway at about 55 - 60 mph I backed off for a bit to about 45-50 mph then after about 10 miles or so, bumped it up again to about 60 mph and the bogging was gone. Very strange I thought... then about 20 min later I showed up to my job turned in the driveway, gave it a bit of gas and heard a loud grinding noise come from the engine.

It seems to do this grind noise (NOT A SQUEAL OR CHIRP) but a GRINDING noise for about 1-2 seconds when you rev the engine at about 2500 - 2800 rpm's it does not last, only a quick grind then it's gone, however it will do it every time you rev it up. The oil and filter was just changed, I have checked the pulleys they seem good, belt is in great condition, and I just replaced the idler pulley. Could it possibly be the water pump?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

NO smoke, leaks etc... I cannot exactly pin point the exact spot the noise is coming from, but it sounds like it is coming from somewhere on the right side, front of motor where water pump is in the center, then you have your idler pulley, alternator and under that your power steering. I will take a video today and post it here.
