Seafoam


I got a can of this to clean my intake i know to put it in the break booster line but whats the best way to get it in the other side of the intake too to clean it?>

ive heard the best thing to do is 1/3 in gas tank, 1/3 in vacuum hoses, and 1/3 in brake booster

i was thinking pcv line and break booster and then some in the tank. this pvc line will help distribute it to all 6 cyl?

make a vid of it fogging everything up too. When you are ready to start the car, and everything remember it will be harder to start than normal, but when it is started go take a drive in it, and get it up in the rpm band too. You want it to get into every little nook and cranny it can find to clean it all out. Also do it outside.

Also forgot to mention. When you do a full engine cleaning like that it is good to have your oil changed about 500 miles after you seafoam your car like that.

Im not putting any directly in my oil, not this time just because i dont want to put my self on the spot for an oil change that i may not have time to do when it should be done

Well i let my PVC line Chug that whole bottle back now im letting it sit for about 20 min before i turn her over. i didnt put it in the tank because ive already put NOS injector cleaner in there and the NOS stuff really does work. Ill try to take a vid of me smoking out the neighborhood but my pda taked crappy vids lol

mmk so im totally at a loss as to how you do this... many people start their engine pull one of the vacum lines? right and then put the seafom in through their?

nope my engine is off, i pulled the pvc line put a funnel with a tube on it into the intake where the pvc line was emptied the can in there now i let her sit like suggested then ill fire her up, of course i reassembled the pcv system.

I love seafoam thats all i got to say although ui had to turn my crank with a ratchet because it would turn after letting it sit for 10 min like they advised me to. BTW my car feels like a new machine its amazing the difference. seafoam FTW
