Help!!!! Engine problems


My service engine light went on and now when I go to shift the engine boggs and idles very hard it wasn't doing this until today. Please what do I do

Go to Kragen or Autozone and get the codes read off the computer. A lot of places do it for free. If you can afford it, get the code reader itself.

It sounds like a sensor may need replacement. The car's computer has codes that help to identify which one. There are a few parts that are easy to fix that might be causing the problem. Don't waste your money replacing them one by one until it runs better.

Get those codes read and post again.

Check your Mass air flow sensor, coil pack and idle air control valve

Just got back from autozone. The problem is the spark plug in cylinder 2 at 1000rpms misfire
