Need some help

So I'm driving home and I hear something bouncing around under my car, I look in the mirror and go figure there is something rolling around on the road behind me. So I pull over and get it and it's this

This is the second air intake in the bottom of the front fender. The shop that installed it decided to put the fastener on there 10x to tight and it completely ripped through the rubber lip on it. I was just wonder how important this intake is and if I can drive with it until tomorrow or the next day whenever I get a replacement one from pro charger.

I wouldnt unless you want dirt in your motor. Try getting it on there with a flathead. stretch it out a little and get it back on as much as possible, and just tighten it down a slight bit.

Okay well I wasn't able to tighten it down but I was able to at least get the intake back on, because of having all the lip ripped off it it fits pretty flush into the inlet tube. I'm thinking this will hold for a short time

wait....you let a shop install your intake? that's a new one to me lol

as for driving without a filter...it's best not to do this lol. head to an auto store when you can and pick up a new filter and pop that bad boy on.

What do you mean by "second air intake"?

There is the normal air intake that is large and visible when you open the hood, this is a small 3in intake that is down in the front fender for the supercharger, I truthfully don't even know what the purpose of this other filter is

Sounds like a breather. Where is the line that this filter attaches to routed?
