So, my car is not running, don't know why, it just decided to basically die on me .


Went to go pick up my mach's with my brother in law, put them on, they drove home fine (roughly a 10-15 mile trip home). Went to school the next day with my new wheels on, come out, my brother left the light on in my car. Get a jump from one of my friends, and all is fine. Car's acting normal, everything is good. Go to school the next day, start's right up while in the AM, get to school, everything is normal. Come out, battery is dead. And the same thing happened today as well. EXCEPT, when i give it gas, it seems like nothing is getting to it. I had my foot to the floor, and it was at only 3k rpm, so i'm thinking to myself "shit, somethings wrong with my car." and now, my car is sitting outside, not being able to start on it's own without charging the battery / jumping it. I havn't had much time to trouble shoot it, since i've been at work since i got home from school. I just put new spark plugs in (i still need to check those) I should probably go get my alternator/battery checked. and then idk what else to do.

Clean the terminals. Make sure everything is tight.

Could be the Fuel pump but since
You have to jump it to start it then floor it and it only goes to 3,000 rpm
It could be that you plugged the spark plug coils in the wrong order.
I hope you did your spark plugs one at a time.
Idk the V6 order but I'm sure that's why your idle is all messed up.
About the starting issue your battery probably took a crap and its not holding its charge.

i know my plugs are in right, since i did them one at a time. I changed them about a month ago, so, idk if that'd be it. I might as well check them to make sure they're still good though and don't have a bunch of shit on them.

i can hear my fuel pump prime when i turn the key.

get a systems check done and see if that pin points the issue..most of the time it will

Same thing happened on my Infiniti, Turned out the MAF got unplugged. Have you checked that?

Batteries can get messed up if they get completely drained too many times. Mine died and then would need a jump if it sat for more than 6 hours. Since you're going to need to replace it, you might as well do that and go from there. You arent throwing any codes right?

reset the computer, now i have a CEL, i don't have time today/tomorrow to do anything with it, so i'll get the code read on friday.

so, now it accels a little bit better, when i put the foot to the floor, it won't accelerate as fast as it normally would, it'll just stay the same when i put my foot to the floor.

Besides the wheels and bumper, what else have you done to the car lately? Specifically to the engine.

spark plugs, but they were fine when i checked them.. i got a new air filter

i cleaned my MAF about a month or so ago.

MAF still plugged in? Spark plugs gapped to ~.052"? Spark plug wires in the right order (5 and 6 are easy to mix up)?

MAF is plugged in, (to the best of my knowledge i plugged it back in ) Spark plugs are gapped and wires are in correct order. I'll brb and i'll go check the MAF
