windstar kit install help

hey guys i put my kit on finally and thought i did everything right but i guess not i have a bad leak coming from under the windstar intake idk i assumed i was suposed to use the blue gaskets that came with it is that right? also any advice to what maybe causing the leak?

Did you torque it down correctly? I think there's a pattern you're supposed to use, maybe.someone else can shed a little more light on it

Port & Polish Intake Manifolds

Scroll down for torque sequence.

Are you sure its from the bottom? Did you hook up every vacuum line?

ya its coming from the bottom around the middle of the intake all the lines r hooked up and hose clamped i dont know how the gaskets work should they sit over the lower intake ports or in them? sorry if i sound dumb im still learning

their are groves in the intake that the gaskets set in ...

should be a figure 8 shaped gasket. But both halves are shapped differently. Make sure they are in the correct slot

If it's a high pitched whistle.. Torque the throttle body/spacer down

its a his and the idle drops im going to try to use the torque specs see if i can fix it thank you everyone for the help

If torquing them down doesn't work, you may have torn one of the gaskets..
