Painting Brake Calipers


how hard is it to paint brake calipers? Also how do u remove the caliper?

1.) Its easy

2.) You don't have to take it off you can use newspaper and tape it to the rotors so you don't get it over them. If you take them off you have to bleed the brake lines....

Not really, but I would just use news paper and paint them that way -

Thats how I did mine

yea i picked up a dupli-color yellow like a haft hour ago and its like a school bus yellow so far. So idk what im gonna do. Any other people make brake caliper paint?

Painted mine with high temp engine paint......

I'm thinking it was duplicolor -

yea i used dublicolor and first i used a wire brush to clean off the rust and w/e else is on it. then spray the degreaser. my kit came with a paint brush so i paintbrushed all the calipers w/o taking them off. then did a second coat and let it dry. looks amazingly better. oh and while you are there throw on a set of drilled/slotted rotors and it really spices things up.

damn dude looks nice. DO u think i should use yellow for mine? also paint should i paint the whole thing? because it seems like to me just to paint the grey part but do the whole thing?

nvm ill bring that back up when im ready to paint them. But do u think that color would look good on my car or should i find a color closer to my color?
