jus the water thats on the ground gets thrown up in the well and the intake will suck the moisture from that...no biggie

doesnt do anything. your stock airbox sucks air from the fenderwell too.

having the filter in the fenderwell poses NO threat

no. the geometry of the piping is different.

I put a CAI in my 01 and now it always sounds like an espresso machine under the hood.
