I got the American Muscle brand for 55 bucks and it installed easily and actually made a noticeable difference. Of course my car is a fox V8 but this is a great deal on any mustang in my opinion. This is a fenderwell unit.

In power terms you wont really notice a difference. It's been said that a fender well intake will give you more low end and the ones that arent in the fender will give you more high end. But take that with a grain of salt, in my opinion a CAI is a CAI and if your looking for any real gains from a mod then a CAI isn't really worth it.

dude wtf are you talking about? "betta den" hahaha

to the op: if you mean what brands are better then they are pretty much the same..

i got the fenderwell one which imo is better then the non 1 simply because its not in the engine bay exposed to the heat, but when it rains it will suck the moist air in from inside the well.

The windstar is an upper intake that comes with a CAI for a little extra money, it also comes with a TB for a little more too. The windstar upper intake is one of those "good bang for your buck" mods. I have never heard of a CAI spacer, I think your getting cold air intake mixed up with an intake spacer, they are 2 different things.

fail is fail is fail is fail

fail + 2fail x fail(7) - 4fail / fail(2) = fail
fail x 2 still = fail
fail x 2 x fail to the 100th power = fail

facepalm = fail

No matter how big or small the fail, a fail is still a fail ...

Ok. Let's break this down.

CAI is a fenderwell unit. RAI (ram air intake) is the short one. CAI lower's your IAT's, RAI lower's restriction. Neither does very much performance wise. It's more for show than anything. Those claims of 15-20hp? I wouldn't believe them, you're lucky to get a few, nothing you'd notice from driving it.

And no matter what you do, don't make one out of PVC and a plastic plant pot like someone else did.
