maf sensor


i am thinking about getting a bigger maf sensor for my v6 and i dont know how big i can go...i want to go with the sniper 95mm maf sensor but i dont know if that will fit

the bigger the Maf the more air you are ABLE to push through.

the maf doesn't push anything.

ya i was talking to 02poney and he said that i should wait till i get more mods or foced induction till i get something that big...i might just save my money and wait a bit till i get a new maf sensor

If you didn't know, you will need your car's computer calibrated to run a larger MAF. Also, smaller displacement engines running larger MAFs can lead to rougher idles because the air velocity is much slower and the MAF readings are grasping for resolution.

isnt that where the "turbonator" works its swirling windy action to help increase the velocity of large volumes? LOL!!
Im still trying to find anyone who will admit they installed one and thought it made a difference.

ive seen the dyno run for a turbonator and it made 1hp...and im not kidding
