motor and pcm. maybe master harness im unsure if they are the same. and misc sensors. not worth the trouble, if you have single port its more worth your while to get a super charger cuz u will have spend the same amount of cash in the end.

. . . . .

Split sport swap is worth every penny. The only other thing I could see doing would be an m90 swap. And you can get SP swap components for 400-600$

Misinformation sucks

if he pulls the top end off a SP engine he would need a PCM tune would he not? sorry so upper and lower intake. Try to get a 2001-04 its the revised SP but he would still need the gaskets and a PCM tune or maybe he dont need the tune im not sure. also isnt his fuel system a return style would he have to convert it to return less?

Somebody sells, or used to sell all the components and the modified fuel line for that swap for like 7-800$.....

I would be guessing a tune would be needed -

if i were to do the SP swap if i had to id take the intake of a windstar. less restrictive its also plastic so it runs cooler and its better if your using giggle juice better distribution also the TB will not have that 90* turn in it. also relocates the TB to the front of the engine which would be easer to make your own ram air setup. Im considering this swap my self if i can find a windstar intake.

And plus the windstar intake is only really good for a cool factor.... Nobody has proven any gains with it yet -

it does run cooler so it would be more beneficial in a forced induction situation. less heat absorbed into the intake system will = more power.

I havnt read it yet although im sure some where on Google some one has posted a test with forced induction. I just say this because if you think about how forced induction works the temperature of the intaked air is crucial to how much power you gain. because if read some threads where people were talking about differences in some supercharged dyno's and the only thing that had changed was the air intake temperature. so in therory a cooler intake means that much cooler the air will stay when it enters the TB and intake. which = more power and it has to be a difference of atleast a few degrees, i said atleast, cuz that stock Aluminum intake gets hot as hell we all know that.
