helps keep the intake cool. as you know. corresponds with The other thread where i was speaking of the probably gains of a windstar intake for forced induction. this intake spacer has been proven to decrease intake temp.

I just want to know even though I have no turbo or super... how does the spacer reduce temperatures that much?

Its insulated...and with the cooler air and more coming in would the intake spacer with a windstar intake be even more potent on a n/a car or would the gains only be from the spacer

well the windstar intake will always run cooler then the Stock one cuz ours is aluminum. the spacer i dunno if it would work with the windstar intake but if it did id do both. and the windstar intake im sure would work with current cai u would have to do some custom work add a piece maybe. and lastly the windstar intake isnt specifically used only for forced induction i just think in theory thats where it would be more beneficial. and like i said it distributes giggle juice more evenly because how the tb is located there are no sharp 90* bends like the stock intake manifold.

Hmm that's interesting...either way an intake spacer seems like a not too expensive mod I could do myself, before the gears and tlok

I imagine it should be ok. I mean its tempered plastic and can hold up on the engine, but yet i still can agree with your concern that it could blow from boost. only a test will show the truth i wish i could find some one who has done it.
