Ignition Coil Question

Okay, well my car has just been weird for the past month or so. Here is what I am feeling:

Lack of power
Hesitates on acceleration
Shifting feels off (automatic)
Misfire
BAD gas mileage

I replaced the fuel filter already and no change.

OBD read Misfire in cylinder 3. Spark Plugs look OK and wires too.Less then 600 miles on them.

SO,I want to know...when I go to buy a Ignition coil can I just get a non-name brand? I mean they basically do the same thing right? I know this could be a dumb question..lol, it's a matter of Generic vs. Name brand.

All I know is when I buy the fake tylenol and real tylenol they work the same....tee hee.

Okay fellas that was it. Thanks in advance!

Bad reviews on the SD. Get OEM.

I've heard bad reviews on the SD. I do not need any more problems...I'm trying to fix them..lol.

Okay, oem was always on my mind.I want to keep everything that has to do with the ignition oem.

But what I mean is that, Autozone has the coil for ( NON-motorcraft) $54.99 but places online carry them for $24.95 and that sounds better. But there was no given name for the brand it only states exceeds OE standards.

So would it matter? If the coil is bad, can't I just buy a new one...it doesen't matter who made it as long as it exceeds OE standards.
