Couple of quick points here:
1. Windstar only works on split port (99 and newer) 3.8L V6s 2. 65mm is over kill on a single port (earlier than 99) 3.8L V6s Using a throttle body that is too large is not a "no harm, no biggie" deal. 1. You will have a lot of trouble with the idle hanging above 2000 rpms, even if the car is professionally tuned. 2. It will cost low rpm torque, which is the primary strength of the single port engine. 3. It will make it harder to control the throttle; more like an on/off switch. 4. Because of 1-3 above, your MPG, 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile will all suffer. 5. People who ride in your car will think it runs like ass Do a split port swap (with or without windstar intake) using a stock throtle body. Finally, a larger throttle body on any year mustang without a professional tune is the equivalent of drilling holes in your intake manifold: detrimental no matter how you do it. Good luck!
