Steering wheel

when you take out your steering wheel, do you need a new retainer bolt or can you use the same one that you took out?

I believe Ford says to replace it with a new one.

You might ask them why.

its probably a stretch type bolt and when its torqued it stretches obviously so it cannot be re torqued properly once removed.

The air bag has to come off first, then remove the nut.

I believe the puller attaches to the steering wheel with bolts. You will have to figure out what thread size.
