today and i plan on putting them on tomorrow morning i was just wondering if there were any special little tricks that might make it easier... any special tools i need? things of that nature... thanks guys

um a pulley puller might help you a bit and a balancer if you didn;t get it. and i think yo also need that longer locating bolt to make it a bit easier

all i needed was a harmonic balancer removal tool (puller from autozone for 20 buck rental) and jack the front ned so you can get under it.

so if i can find thsi harmonic balancer removal tool it should b pretty strait foreword from there

yep. If you have an alt pulley your gonna need an impact wrench to get it off also, but except for that just the balancer remover, and your socket wrenches will do ya just fine.

I highly suggest the ALT pulley cuz u will be undercharging with out it.

He may or may not. Some people do, and some don't. On my 98 my car was right in the middle of the alt guage so I undercharged a bit, but in the 04 it is leaning more towards the high side. Some run a little higher than others so he may or may not undercharge.

true but if he has the Mach system with them amps then he might see some issues thats why i usually suggest the larger pulley.

I have the mach system. Yes, I have a GT and the alt produces more amps, but still. It's an hit or miss situation.

thats true, i just get worried about undercharging cuz it can pop the battery as well some times. depending on how severe, some get lucky like you said.

Can always do what I did. Put all the pulleys you can put on, and not worry bout the alt until you find out if you undercharge or not. If you do...put it on, if you don't awesome your one of the lucky ones.

i have the mach 460 sound system along with two kenwood 12" subs and a kenwood 1800 watt amp... and no worries like cricket said im gona buy as many performance pulleys as i can so when i got my pulley i got the alt pulley
