THE CLEANUP

well as most of you know I painted my doors last weekend and they looked pretty good. the downside is the top of the door, yes the soft vinyl stuff, well the paint wasnt sticking and was very sticky. so i took it upon myself this afternoon to get the paint off the door. heres how it is coming so far.

you could, since your doors are gonna be fcked up anyway....

Just sand down your door and try painting them that way. I think all major auto-part stores sell interior dye...]

oh shit ! I used to sell jan-san stuff. The orange oil in goo gone should do the trick with a little elbow as you've said. If you have the same plastic kinda doors as I have then the goo gone shouldnt hurt it either. You ever think about just repainting those suckers anyway?

the paint i had just wasnt bonding to the soft part, the rest of the door was dry in like 20 minutes, but i think the top has some kind of rubber in it which that paint obviously doesnt like

my bad, I dont drink often and I had a few tonight ( with one of my brothers earlier, found out today he's gettinga divorce... bummer for him) anyway, I get it now. You tried the paint and got bad results, as shown above. Now your going to try a "dye". Ive never heard of a dye for plastic/vinyl. Thats cool. I hope it works great for you. Maybe you can post some more pics after you get er done.
