2000 3.8 nos

im trying to find a smart nos system that opens up when the throttle is fully open or monitors maf sensor for my 3.8 v6 or any suggestions for a system i could modify the switch undr the pedal or on the throttlebody. Forced air is out of my league right now and im not payn 4gs for a foced air system when nos is cheaper and lighter all the weight goes in the trunk

Edited your post, street racing talk is not allowed in the tech section.

Well I don't know much about Nos kits.... But if your willing to settle for any old nitrous kit then a Zex wet kit is the main kit people use on these cars.

Zex, NOS, or Nitrous Express (wet kits) are all commonly used on these cars. You should be pretty safe with a 75 or possibly 100 shot on a mostly stock motor. Just use a normal switch setup, don't try to get tricky or shit it more likely to get messed up.

Arming switch -> Window switch -> WOT switch -> fuel pressure safety switch. Wide open throttle switch is a must. Window switch is also a must. It prevents you from blowing your motor or spraying at low RPM. FPS is just an added backup. Its not needed so much unles you have a big shot on a stock fuel pump. generally, 100 shot is tops for split ports. Anymore and you can have nitrous pool in certain cylinders (it is because the split ports have more runners for the nitrous to choose from). NX is an excellent brand. Thats what I have. NOS is great. Pops put that on his 5L. Coldfusion and brand X are fair.

Listen to this guy. Wet kit only. Dry requires larger injectors and all the pain in the ass stuff with that.

Hope that answered your questions

Go through summit. Buy NX proton kit with a free pressure gauge. Then go from there. Their kits are dirt cheap
