Cam thrust plate and spacer

Anybody know where to get a thrust plate and spacer new? Don't feel like spending $250 for the roller deal from SSM

When I pulled the cam out, the thrust plate and spacer where galled and grooved. Guess I'll call the dealer tomorrow. I though there would be someone here that knew where a better deal could be had or a good used one.

Yea i cant tink of anyone who would sell one. I just sent mine out to the scrapyard or else id send it to ya.

Mike......Since my short block is a 96 it doesn't have a balance shaft. Whats chewed up is the thrust plate and the spacer that goes in place of the balance shaft drive gear. One of the torex bolts that held the plate was broken off so I 'm thinking thats what caused the problem. So I hope you might have some older stuff. I think its 94 to 98's that had no balance shaft. Also, didn't you have problems with cam bearings?

Ok I see, thought this was cam plate material.

And yes I did. 50k Fing miles and the cam bearings were F'ed !!!! lol
I got the car @ 33k miles and lord knows who and how it was taken care of before me
