Random tail light flash
Not sure how to explain this but twice in the last couple of months I just happen to have seen my tail lights flash. I didn't have my keys in hand and accidentally pushed the remote or anything. I just happened to look in the garage at the right time and seen them flash, no noise, horn or nothing. Just a random flash. Oddly enough I have a parasitic power drain even with a priority start installed. Any ideas from the experts out there? Why are they flashing randomly and can this cause/be related to my power drain? Thanks

i have theory that one of your lights power wire has partially fused to another power wire thats not on a switch...it would explain both problems...only way to know for sure is to find out which light(s) is flashing and then trace the wire until you find the issue...if you don't want to watch your vehicle all day long till it happens....might i reccomend that you set up a camera and check it after an hour or so and see if you catch it in the act.

Have any aftermarket items installed? Like push button start, subs, anything electrical?

I do have aftermarket sequential tail lights from Meter4it Sequentail / Chase turn signals for Ford Mustang and it is both tail lights that flash not just one. I installed these in 2006 but the random flashing is a new problem and the parasitic power bleed is an older problem (meaning before an after install). I will look at the wiring today for obvious signs of damage or wear and then check into a rehab facility for my drug problem - the problem being that i don't do drugs. Guess i can rule out that as the issue huh lol.

Yeah, just get a tad bit F'd up on some good drugs and the flashing tail lights wont be a problem anymore, you'll stare for hours waiting for them to go off again
