m112 adapter

well i was lookin around and found a m112 adapter on super six motorsports and was curious as to what engine mods would have to be done to support a supercharger on a sixxer? i know what other mods id need as far as fuel system and rear end and stuff like that, im just asking about the MOTOR. thanks guys/girls

i have a 03 cobra and eventually i want to upgrade to a whipple so ill already have the m112 laying around and thought maybe i could put it to good use.

wouldnt really need to do anything to the motor unless you want it cammed. But id say bolt on the m112 and get it tuned..

agreed. With supporting fuel mods (Lightning MAF, 39# injectors, upgraded fuel pump), this will give you ~300 hp. Add exhaust and a cam and you can see ~340.

im curious as to why you "cant" run an intercooler with these ? Never looked much into all that stuff so excuse me if I look like a fucktard here, but couldn't you just extend the intake tubing to a cooler ?
Sounds "to easy" to be true so im sure their is a perfectly good reason that If I knew more about FI it would be common sense... oh well

But also, 8psi on stock heads/intakes, or on ported heads/intakes ? makes a difference :p

Ohh and idk if you've looked much into this swap or not, but it requires a hood mod or new hood

to run an intercooler the blower would be about 6-7 inches high and you wouldn't be able to have a hood

...something like...THIS?!?!? for reference that charge pipe sits about 6-7 inches out of the hood or so. He cut a hood in what was originally probably a 4 inch cowl

the thing runs mid 8s...he is getting a new block and cranking the boost up even more
