That car is nice, but I don't know about the red calipers..... Seems like yellow would look good too

yea you can.. you just gotta roughin it up a bit... that way it doesn't have the glossy ness to it and will take paint... just sand it down a bit

I'm thinking yellow, or even like a silver color to match your wheels...I would love that.

Wow at first i looked at that car..and i saw the GT on the side..i was like Then i scrolled down and saw the Americanmuscle thing in the lower right and corner and was like ...haha had a moment..but i think the red looks good against it..but i think thats too many colors together..with the black rims(if you have the black rims) and then the yellow and red...i'd go with yellow personally bc i woudlnt want too many colors on my car

yeah I've heard that you can just remove the rim (very easy) and just cover your brake discs and everything with newspaper and tape or something like that and you should be pretty good. it probably is a better idea to actually remove them though

ive went both the spray & hand paint way.

the hand painting is the way to go.
just take the wheel off clean the caliper really well
then tape off the pieces around it (if you cant stay in the lines)
2-4 coats

do you have any pics? and did you remove the caliper? also, is there a risk of paint getting inbetween the two parts on the caliper and messing anything up?

haha texas your avatar is sick.// go with a yellow to match your car if not match go brighter. youl have to scuff up the calipers with a low grit sandpaper. then prime them an resand with a higher grit. then paint to your likeings. spray paint is cheep and easy, mixing you can get the color of your choice.

Those are the pics when i painted my front calipers with the spray. I used tape for the small spaces. Newspaper for the fender area, then to be cautious i threw a paint cloth over my car. As you can see, its kind of a pain to protect from the overspray. Its the cheapest way to go, but i think paying an extra $10 is worth it.

I painted my rear calipers with the paint-on stuff a year after. My front calipers still look fine. I think i put 3 coats on them. To clean them (before painting)i just used water & a metal brush. Sanding should work also. The kit i bought from AutoZone came with all the materials needed to clean the calipers & it works really well. I dont have any pics of my rear calipers, but this is the stuff im talking about:

Good luck
