Creaking noise I can't figure out

I bought my first Mustang back in March, it's a 2004 V6 40th anniversary auto (hopefully will be switched to a manual and V8 soon). In August I moved to a town with a lot of hills and river bluffs and my car started making a creaking noise from the lower front drivers side that I can't figure out. I brought it to two Ford dealers and they couldn't figure it out, one said that the ball joints and brakes/rotors were good still and the other said the struts and way bar linkages were bad so I replaced those and that didn't fix it.

I had it up on a lift a week or two ago and shook down the drivers side tire and there was a very slight amount of play in in, nothing major.

I have replaced the inner and outer tie rods on the drivers side and put in new sway bar linkages and I had the dealer replace the struts and the sound is still happening.

I am sure this has been posted multiple times and I did a little reading but everyone is saying it's the ball joints so I am at a loss.

I tried to get a video with the sound in it but I couldn't get it to be as clear as in person.

Any help is appreciated. I will be bringing it back to the dealer in a couple weeks to have them check the wheel bearings and ball joints again. I would bring it to the local one but I don't trust them and was not overly impressed with them at all.

I would go to az or orielys and check what causing the ses light to come on, maybe that will lead you to a direction of the problem.

Sounds like a balljoint ready to break. Could also be a blown out strut.
Have you check the FCA rubber bushings also.

Does it do it at cruising speeds or coming to a stop etc???

The codes are P0113 and P0430, they have to do with the mass air flow sensor and I forget what the other one is for. Those came on back in May when I put the cold air intake in.

Struts are brand new as of a month ago and I had the ball joints checked in August and was told they were fine by the Ford dealer. I am debating if I should just bring it to the local one tomorrow and have them check it out or wait a couple weeks until I can get to the one I usually do. It's cheaper there and they don't charge to check out any car, only to fix it but it's a 250+ mile drive to get there ...

Maybe the U-joints on the driveshafts are worn out.

I know when the lower control arm bushings were bad in my parent's escape, it would make a "whooping" noise constantly over small, or big, bumps.

Did it sound anything like the noise in the video I posted?

I think I'm facing the same problem. I just take it to my cousin and he has to grease up something up front.

I can't remember what he said it was but I need to get it greased again so I'll see what he says. And he worked on mustangs for 20 years at ford so he is pretty knowledgable.

Advice #1: Stop having mechanics and stealerships tell you what is wrong. Okay if you don't know how to replace things, but to check what needs replacing you only need a pair of eyes. Hell, even one eye, just lousy depth perception...

Ball joints, bushings, and basically all suspension components are easy to check for damage. If you are unsure of where these parts are, or what to look for, we can tell you.
