midpipe?
Alright so i PLAN on buying pacesetter LT's. Would it be cheaper to buy a used or new h pipe off of someone or have the shop fab one? plus if i were to buy one would i be able to run any ordinary midpipe as long as its for LT's. like from a gt or something? Also, if i were to go catless, the upstream O2's just go back in as is and for the downstream ones i would just get MIL eliminators. so does that mean the shop doing the exhaust would have to fab up the bungs for the sensors? Im just trying to get this straight before i commit to it.

Yea don't waste time on the MAC unit if you are getting Pacesetters. The Pacesetters don't have a flange on them they are a strap-on (hehe) style so you have to clamp them to the exhaust.
If you bought that the shop would have to fab a flange to the h-pipe so you will still be stuck with fab charges. Have a shop make one for you and save on. If you were buying MAC LTs I would get the MAC h-pipe, but not with Pacesetters...

right buy you said that he Needs an h-pipe...thats what the other guy was pointing out...he doesn't need it for LTs or any exhaust on here. I on the other hand just love a PC over other midpipes lol. just different points of views to the same question

failness
Pacesetter = cheaper, needs flanges WELDED on NOT CLAMPED, not high temp painted, needs a good sand blasting and repainting with high temp paint ( thats up to you though ) Mac = idk ? * Pacesetters DO fit automatics! Dont believe me ? Crawl under my car ![]() No car "needs" a midpipe But if your asking me about an O/R exhuast for these cars Prochamber or H pipe. Get shit WELDED and FLANGED DO NOT CLAMP SHIT Prices for mide pipes such as H pipe, check ebay and craigslist and then call your exhuast shops for prices ... that simple, we cant tell you their rates. O2's, My pacesetters came with holes for them on each side. As for the second pair, fuck it, my plugs are hanging under the car ? Dyno tune fixed that plus too many people complain aobut MIL's not working I wouldn't fuck with them. Just get a tune to turn them off.... This is all. End thread
