Mods for Christmas?


I am stuck between lowering springs and C&C plates or a tuner. which will i get the most benefit/most smiles per dollar? or if you have other suggestions let me know. $300-$400 is my limit.

Springs are pretty nice, but i bought my tuner before my springs and id do it that way all over again.

Used springs, used tuner. Screw CC plates unless the alignment people tell you you need them. $30 for camber bolts is a lot cheaper than $200 for plates unless you are racing and need the constant adjustment.

the springs? i don't want to cut mine because i am saving all of my stock parts so that way i can return it mostly to stock too sell it when i get a Mach or GT in the future. so i am kind of leaning towards the tuner, but i am a manual and i already have a code reader and i have also heard that the tune doesn't give that much more power.

i got springs/ C/C plates for < 225$ used. Check Craigslist.

in my area its all either fox parts or stock parts. never aftermarket parts. so craigslist is out of the question. it took me like 4 weeks to wait until for 1 sway bar to come up...

Idk about 87 but a 93 tune will give you probably 10 rwhp/10 ftlbs

My Christmas list consists of getting my car back....
and then 4.10s which I found and maybe my friends old racing seats.

If your gonna get a tuner, I think you should get something performance wise that will benefit from the tuner as well.
