Why do that? Your ride will suck. And no It won't be bouncy. It will be the complete opposite since there will not be enough spring left to bounce. You will feel everything in the road as a violent slam. That is the most common '95 Honda Civic mod.

uninformed ^
lowering a car period is going to make the ride stiffer. Cutting springs on a mustang is fine, a LOT of people do it. I've done it, and can't say I regret it. |

Others that have done it will tell you they regret it. The ride will be slightly worse than buying a set of aftermarket springs. There is at least one thread going right now of a 'cut spring'er' wanting to go to something else.
True though that lowering the car, low pro tires, etc. you will feel a lot more of the road.

I cut mine for the exact same reason, ride is negligibly affected, not really bouncy but definitely feel more of the road..
here's how she sits now, cut 1 coil on fronts and 1/2 on backs. Isolators are still on, but they are shit and next to nothing anyways. ![]()

The thread about the guy that cut his and wants actual springs is because he SLAMMED his car. Like 2 coils off the front and back I think. duh its gonna ride like shit if you go that low on stock struts and shocks.
Anyways, I did like 1.25 off the front and 1 coil off the back. don't really have any good pics of it once it settled, but here is a general idea.

yea since you have progressive springs it will be affected a little because my friend had a v6 and it was really bumpy and you felt everything on the road, also do more then 1/2 so like 1.25 all around

Honestly If you're saving for Eibach springs then I would leave it as is and do it right the first time. I've don't things like that as a temporary fix and every time I regret not doing it right the first time.
That being said, there is nothing wrong cutting stock springs, but if you fuck it up your car will be down until you can get the spring(s) to fix it. Assuming that its a daily driver, thats a terrible thing, not to mention you'll have to dip into your Eibach fund to fix it. Do yourself a favor and suffer the looks until you can do it right. P.S. don't forget to do Shocks and Struts with your new springs as well.
