I would not cut my springs, The spring rate of your stock springs will not work well when you cut them, most quality lowering springs have a firmer spring rate than what is offered with stock springs. This helps in not bottoming out, there are 2 types of lowering springs, progressive and single rate, progressive's offer a better ride.
here's mine.. 2" Eibach Sportline Lowering Kit, Tokico's HP (Blue) Shocks/Struts and an BBK CC kit, and a set of eibach sway bars..I installed everything myself..

what did all of that cost you?

to cut my springs it cost me $30 to buy 6er and his friend lunch...I bet I came out ahead on that deal

However, you may do more with your car than I do, mine is simply a DD

Having my stockers cut, it may be a little bumpier than $250 springs, but I havent really bottomed out at all, take your time and fuck the guy behind you honking and you wont bottom out

nice 6, btw

lol this debate will never end...unless a person has cut a set properly i honestly don't care to hear their opinion on cut springs...to the guys that have run cut springs if you like or dislike them i respect your opinion...soooo hopefully the people thats only experience with it includes reading horror stories on honda.net will decide not to post lol.

there i feel better
