become experienced by grabbing a wrench and trying it yourself...best way to learn and you'll be happier then if you just let a shop do it (plus more money in your wallet)....other then that a shop normally charges around $75 an hour in labor around here for stuff like that (again that's just around here)

Shorty headers are very similar to what our cars come with stock. No better flow, just look better. You would be better off just having yours coated.
LTs are much better for sound, and replace your factory mid pipe. OP, no one ever told you, but the link you posted is for a V8. AmericanMuscle doesn't carry headers for your car. Go to macperformance.com and look at what they have.

One of these days I will do something like this myself, but for now, no. Too busy. But the longtubes alone at mac are like $279 so how many hours would this be?

2-4 depending on your experience and if you have a buddy feeding it through under the car.

You know Ive been contemplating what headers to run with my future exhaust setup, at first I was thinking about shorty's but Ive heard better things about LT's. I was thinking about a Mac LT's to shorty H-pipe to Borla Stinger catback.

With some modification yes. Your gona get a much meaner sound. Long tubes, as the name implies, are longer and usually require a a shorty mid pipe, but since u have a custom divorced duals I'd say it be best if you take it to a exhaust shop to have the existing system modified to fit the LTs. Just my 2 cents
