Longtube headers or shorty headers for 95 Mustang?

V6 here, wanna add something to the divorced duals already on it (divorced duals plus two flowmaster 40s). Which would be the best option since I already have the mufflers and pipes installed? Cheapest? I'm thinking shorty I just wanna bump the sound even louder, don't care so much about HP gain eve though I'm sure there would be a small bump in that too.

http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-eq...ers-94-95.html Would these work on a V6 95?

Also, whats the total cost presumably? Hours of labor?

Long tubes or nothing. Shortys won't do anything for you except lighten your wallet. Long tubes will make a huge difference in sound as well as give u a performance gain.

Maybe some people keep buying them for Clearance issues when Lowering Show cars or something around those lines?

I dunno, I just sit here with Cheez-It's and watch you all talk about stuff I usually dont know. :B

Well, Maybe some people dont like scraping?

I wouldnt mind cutting my springs and scraping stuff.. But the roads here are terrible. So I will keep my 4x4..

my original plan was Spacers in rear and cut front spring .75" - 1"

But Now I think that would just look bad.

They can be but they are worth it (headers in general, shorties or long tubes, are a pita)

Agreed, MAC products are top notch. Hell if MACs long tubes were legal here on Cali I'd already have them

So how long would it take for a decently experienced mechanic to install them (MAC longtubes)? Cost?
