Turbo Build
Been working on a new hotside this past week fabbing it up here and there. It'ss all welded up, coated, and wrapped. All thats left to do it bolt it on the car and modify the downpipe.
Sorry for the link but it would take a lot of time to upload them to every site I'm on. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. I wanted to show you guys whats all involved in custom fabbing a hotside. Enjoy... http://photobucket.com/JTsTurboBuild

Looks great, i noticed you used stainless steel lockties? I hate those damn things, i tried to wrap a specific part of the pipe underneath my car and could not get it tightened at all, gotta try it again but im going to use the ones with a screw next time.

A little trick to using header wrap is get the wrap good and wet so that it wraps tighter. The trick to the ties are to use a pair of pliers to pull and a straight screw driver to hold the other side.
Here is a list of tools I used to build this thing... Lincoln 140 mig w/o gas dewalt chop saw Reciprocating saw skil saw Grinder with grinding wheel and cut off wheel Drill with step bit, 1.5" bit, and wire brush attachment 18" metal file rounded and flat on each side Clamps and vice clamps dremel with cutting bit Electric impact wrench Torpedo level 14" framing aquare 30' tape measure 5 gallon bucket to mark the merge pipe using the food coloring tecnique A jy motor to fab on motor stand I'm sure there are a few more tools that could make the job easier but I make do with what I've got. I know the next thing I'll buy will probablly be a table clamp and a special protractor for metal work. I can build these setup for others if interested to clear the ac. anyone interested can send me a pm on pricing.

It's the new precision 6262 with billet wheel and cea turbine rated at over 700hp. In other words, it's a solid 600rwhp capable turbo. It spools like a 35r and produces like a 40r.

This car will probablly never see 1/4 mile track. Like I've said before, the closest 1/4 is 4hrs away and the local 1/8th is 10min.

Little vid I took, cars not finished, have an ex leak on the drv side header I need to readress. Also added gt side scoops painted by my self using a rattle can teqnique I read on here. I think they turned out pretty good.
Also want some input on what to do with the upper radiator hose. It's got to be moved cause it looks like clutter.
