Side scoops
How do these come off? Replacing with gt scoops, I've always liked the look better than the v6 scoops for some reason. I think they look more agressive.

They just pull right off. I believe there are 6 tabs holding them in. Easiest way to start taking them off is to wrap a cloth around a flat head screwdriver and pry one corner up.

So there is no hidden bolt behind the backseat arm rest? Sounds easy enough.

No, sir, just 6 tabs holding them on. If your new scoops didn't come with 6 tabs each, you can reuse the ones from your old scoops. Just be aware that they sometimes stay on the car instead of coming off with the scoops. I always used a pair of vise grips to pull them off the car because they hold on tight.

I agree with the GT scoops looking way better than the v6 scoops. I hate how easy you can see the cheap plastic honeycomb on the v6 scoops.
I'm getting gt scoops painted and put on while it is at the shop. |

yeah most people just call them gt scoops though.
Termi scoops are actually a bit different from the 01-04 gt scoops though |

^+2. I'm pretty sure the Cobra scoops are the same as the GTs.

$75 for the scoops and $75 for paint, does this sound like a good deal?

Ive always had a hard time matching this paint...#g2 is the paint code.
I've got the scoops already, just calling around for prices now.

$75 is what I paid for my scoops. But I was just gonna rattle can them myself until I wrecked my car. Now I'm getting them professionally painted for free! lol
and yeah the inserts are different on cobra scoops. Although I always thought the actual scoop was slightly different also |

lol i thought you were talking about the body of them not the grill...the body is what i care about
![]() as for matching paint...try getting sonic blue. on a side note..if you have your paint code go to advance and have them order you a spray can or two of your color if they don't have it in stock...it's how i get my paint now. |

have them pull up your vehicle on the computer...under the "all parts" section have them click on accessories....have them scroll down to touch up paint...they will offer the touch up paint in the brush and in spray cans if duplicolor makes said color. it's the only way i can get sonic blue easily since we don't stock it in store.
