Technically any cam will work. You wont be spraying over a 100 shot on your block so your cam will be perfectly fine.
Wet vs dry Simply the difference is that a wet kit will spray fuel in with the nitrous. This allows to run nitrous without having to throw bigger injectors on. You generally won't need a tune for a small shot with a wet kit. I wouldn't ever run a dry kit on a stock fuel setupIMO, but some people will stand by their dry kit shit. With the windstar you will be preventing the nitrous from puddling on the rear two cylinders. So it will work perfect with nitrous. They say to retard your timing 1 degree for every 50 shot. Also running a colder plug wouldn't hurt.

On 100hp my brothers car made 270/360 to the wheel. 99 3.8, stock cam, and windstar intake. Car ran 8.2(high 12's in the 1/4) in the 1/8th mile with good tires, 4.10's, and a 5spd trans.
Any cam will work, but nitrous likes big ex duration just like a blower. Make sure you go with a wet kit.

Just grap the sniper wet kit off eaby for $300. I just sold a nitrous kit last week for $250 so there are deals out there if you look for them. Check craigslist.

That works but you would want to get some accessories to make sure your nitrous is safe and effective.
-Purge kit( eliminates air in the lines) -Window Switch( makes sure nitrous goes off at the right time, wot, correct gear and rpm) -Bottle heater( keeps bottle pressure consistent ) DynoTune - DynoTune-Nitrous systems, Purge kits, Nitrous Bottle heaters and more! is a great site for all nitrous items, you can also buy new jets for 100 shot when you up for it

Could just use a torch for a bottle warmer. Lol.
Sniper kit is not bad.. I buy Nitrous Express products though. Local salesman and he gives Nitrous out for 2 bucks a pound.. Damn deal All good companies.. Nitrous Express NOS Zex DynoTune Sure there are others but those are the main kits I see used.

go with a wet, better plugs, and run 93 octane
![]() you can also do a 90 shot. Im looking into this as well ![]() nitrous kits look cheap brand new, some are 350-400. But doesn't have window switch, purge, bottle heater, plugs ... all that shit ... it actually gets expensive if you want to go with all the safety stuff. Fogger type is what you want. |

Some kits are rated at the wheels and some at the crank.

Should look the size of the jets instead of the "shot size"

Further more I'm confused cuz green said the v8 kits r the same for the 6 (if there wet)) plus the ones on matts link say v6 cly ...what's the diff still kinda confused...and should I just sell my cam and buy spray just for the random moments. On the high way and pn the track and then just do visuals

....and...also lol it looks like the kits r around 400-600...(at least on am) then the window switch or w/e is like another 100 then the other two suggested r like another 100 but I assume andpy wet shot up against a cam wil walk ovr it

You can buy any kit you want.. They are universal. You can then do your research and toy around with the jet sizes.
