Whoa wait, so by improving performance does nothing for improving your time? I think thats backwards. I surely thought improving the performance would knock off a good tenth of a second of two using a tuner from the start. Modded with even a few bolt ons or not.

...and Im gonna go out on a limb here and say his Mustang is a 98.

OMG WTF BBQ sauce. lol, that was the greatest.

I also dont see why people would prefer a 1/8 mile time than a 1/4 mile time.. May just be me but if anyones gonna run their mouth saying they have an "8 second car" just by going by an 1/8 of a mile time and think thats cool and fast, then Ill be damned.

all for the 7.5 there are no used rear ends to be had any where here i called every where and they either want a ridiculous amount or dont have one. one place wants 600 bux for a used rear end out of a 99 gt and they wont guarantee they condition of the rear end

Ebay. Well, thatd be my first place to look. Since I found everything else cheap, hey why not, ya know?

If that used rear end were any cheaper, Id jump on it. Id rather have a used but stable 8.8 and have a few bucks set aside in case of maintenance, than to not have one at all.

But damn. Not even a guarantee. Bunch of asses.

Thats cool. At least everything now is squared away.

[opens up some taco bell]

I really need start searching for an 8.8 myself. Hopefully by the time I badly need it, itll be around for me to get. I dont care where I get it. Like I said, Ebay is always my first choice to search. Hasnt failed me yet. haha.
