Lets not consider the fact that water and air characteristics aren't exactly the same but lets do this.


Even with said pressure drop, its not going to show _IF_ show any gains switching one filter to another. (except going from the stock garbage filter)


If you bought an Ebay Cai and it has a blue filter (its made buy holley), Keep it and don't waste another 65$ for a Name.

i dont want to figth but did u read what i wrote? i say the filter may give u 2 or 3 maybe less FILTER ALONE

in my uncle 240sx 20 h.p WITH COMPLETE CAI have u seen imports they have like 30 bents on the intake and they take hot air from the engine cause they r in a bad location.... so its posible to gain up to 20 on a import once again CAI NOT FILTER ALONE

dude, it clearly said that the K&N showed better air flow. just admit it and get on with whatever else you do.

I never said a cold air intake couldn't pull some awkward numbers just look at what the JLT intakes are doing.

But a filter ... thats another story alone. And I wasn't arguing foam filters and other junk. If you look my basis was on 80% of the eBay filters which are the blue "holley" filters. Which are A. not on that flow test, and B. made out of the same "cotton gauze"

well if we r talkin about that if we have alredy a good filter well it's wortless buying a K&n... but I think me and both 97's where talking about that the K&n is the best filter around and #1

Your almost always wrong -

I don't encourage misguiding people. I don't want my fellow mustang enthusiasts to go out and waste 65$ on a K&N when they could have just kept the filter they had and get the same gains.

Thats 65$ toward a tuner, toward Long tubes, exhaust, etc.
- 65$ might even get us 1/8th a tank of gas in two weeks or so
