wow. thats great. *applause* GF is not going turbo becuase it was almost 10k over budget. Now hes talking about doing a built motor with nitrous. if you really did get that in a PM, i already have a pretty good idea who said it. Yeah I see the pics, 36k aint in that car sir....

And with $16000 I have no idea how you go 10k over budget.... especially buying a motor from P.E.

With the shop Elliott took it to the parts alone with almost 17k. with labor it was at 25k. The engine from P.E. was almost 5k. the rear was 3k turbo setup was 5 ( i think). Transmission was like 2500, susension, etc etc etc. it added up really quickly.

as for the 5.0...I was going off of what I was told...
