The name of the filters isn't gonna make a difference...return the k&n and use the one that comes with the cai

...not true... K&N is by far much better. Scrap the one from Ebay. The K&N filter will slide right on. If it doesnt, do what I did before. Get a heat gun and heat up the rubber on the filter so you can expand it, and then slide it on.

It's all just an oiled piece of paper inside a cone... K&Ns is just better because they have name recognition.

not true. All other filters are made of just 1 thick piece of paper making it restrictive to air flow as they become clogged with dirt. K&N is made of many layers of oiled cotton material. Therefore making it flow a lot easier. As the dirt and grime get caught into the filter it actually becomes part of the filtration process. with paper filters, they just have tons of holes for the air to go through (and they eventually just get clogged and no more air can go through it). with k&n, its criss crossed fiber (cotton) and the dirt is held there with the oil on the cotton. therefore, it is impossible for it to ever get clogged and restrict airflow. One more thing...try washing a paper filter from advance auto or ebay. You cant. you just buy new ones. with k&N, you just keep washing it and never have to buy another one again.

K&N > all others.

The blue ebay filters are made buy Holley, just like BPD said its not gonna make a difference.

no, the other CAI filters are made of some weird foam shit that is no where near as good as cotton. They can be washed also, but they do not breath anywhere as god as K&N does.
