Opinions on where my car is now

Well, I have been working on my car A LOT since i got it way back when. I have put a lot of blood and sweat into this car and i have become very attached to it. I personally love how far it has come along since i received it.

they are coming off in the spring when i paint the car.

Take off the stripes, switch to black housing 2001 and up factory headlights, and you'll be good to go! : )

Well i was wanting to paint it oxford white but my dad shot that idea down because he said that we would have to strip the whole car down and he didnt want to do that. So i asked if we could do Highland green (the 2001 bullit color) and he said no it is goign to be the stock color. But anyways, The car is getting the stock topcoat but i am going to do a black base coat to darken the color down some. But the color it is now doesn't look correct because the left side (i think) was repainted when it got rear ended before i bought it (notice the rear bumper) and they used a cheap clear coat and the clear coat is starting to peel off of the car, so i can't wait to get this thing painted.

as for the car...it's come along great...id paint the grill area the same as the hood to complete it but that's a personal choice

hood might stay green after it's painted. i haven't decided if it will stay black or not.

I'd say leave the hood green when you paint it. Hopefully the paint is okay on my car after repainting it :/
but repainting the whole car a different color is a pain if you want to do it right...gotta take the removable body panels off, paint the door jambs, engine bay, etc.

^ yea that's what i was thinking. Pull the motor, Door jams, trunk area, cabin, etc. etc. But i really want to paint it highland green since it isn't that big of a color change. but yea if they don't do it right then once you wax it a couple of times then you can tell if the car was repainted in certain areas or not. I have 2 distinctly different shades of green either side of my car when it is clean :/

Take the pin stripes off, tint the windows, black headlights, chrome wheels, lower.
Basically just dump a whole bunch of $ into it.

could always paint the car hyland green and then make the door jambs black. You probably won't notice the difference in the engine bay

The car looks good man , Shelby has he right idea if you have enough $ for new wheels.
If you take off the pinstripes and side stripe, buy a gt hood scoop and paint it matte black, chop the springs a little to lower it and get a mach1 chin spoiler and new lights, youll have a brand new looking car
