Error code, what could be the cause?

Had this error code pop up today:

P0171

I went by Autzone and got them to pull it, and this is what I got:

Definition: Fuel trim bank one condition
Explanation: The powertrain control module uses the oxygen sensor to calculate the Air/Fuel ratio of the engine. The computer has recognized a rich or lean condition on one engine bank only.
Problem cause:
1. - If bank one and two codes set together suspect fuel pressure or MAF sensor.
2. - Oxygen sensor Defective
3. - Ignition misfire - repair
4. - Fuel injector problem

The car is still running, but I can tell the RPMs are running higher than normal with idle. The exhaust as a drone to it that was not there before.

What do you think it could be? I am guessing an O2 sensor has gone bad.

None that I can notice.

The car is due for an oil change. I think I will do that and fill up the gas tank and see how that affects it. Some people seem to have had water in the fuel and that caused it. The car was sitting in a 1/4 full tank for about 3 weeks. Some moisture could have formed in the tank.

I think I will follow this path:
  1. Change oil and fill up gas
  2. Clean/Replace CAI filter
  3. Clean MAF Sensor
  4. Replace Bank 1 (passenger) O2 Sensors
  5. If all of that fails, I will begin looking at the fuel injectors on bank 1 (passenger)

the code doesn't magically change from parts store to parts store lol...

@zat...my GT got that code after i installed a new midpipe...it was due to a leak i had on the passenger side where the gasket is on the manifold/exhaust pipe...it made my upstream o2 read weird and that made the car idle strange...just something to look at.

You know, I have had a leak on my passenger side header/manifold for awhile...

Everytime you start the car up it makes a ticking sound on that side until it warms up. I will change out that gasket first and go from there.
