Hello,

I'm new to the Mustang scene and am lacking a little base knowledge. Forgive me for the noob questions.

My friend has a white 2004 V6 Mustang, 40th Anniversary Edition which was clipped on the driver's side front earlier this week. The bumper is cracked, the fender is pushed in, and what appears to be a piece holding the headlight in position is broken off.

We're both college students and are trying to keep costs low and would prefer to not have the bumper or fender resprayed as the estimate is pretty steep. My friend needs a new bumper. The fender may be able to be pulled out (the paint is okay), and likely new headlights.

Our questions:

The paint appears to be white, but could it have been a variation of white that we should know about when looking for parts? Where can we check for the paint code?

What are the most popular, clean looking headlights out there? Projectors will cost more than reflectors..

And where should we be looking for parts? Some website/forums are better for auto knowledge, while others are better for classifieds.

When looking online for headlights, bumpers, etc, what are the go-to sites (proactive customer service, decent prices, etc).

Also, what's a reasonable price for a private sale of bumper and a fender?

you can check around on craigslist for the bumper and what not. and goto any parts store and they should be able to look up the paint code for the car. either that or just google it.

oxford white most likely. Their should be a sticker on the door or by the door latch on the driver side with info including the paint code.
