Question

Can I crawl under car no jacks to change transmission filter/fluid and fuel filter?

I have a day planned this weekend to change my transmission fluid.

On my other cars I'm able to crawl up on my back under the car and change the filter and fluid without jacking up the car or using a .

So my question is with my 2001 mustang will I be able to crawl/lay up under the car in the same manner to change the filter and fluid?

And I also want to change my fuel filter as. Will i be able to by crawling under the car?

been there... tried that...

there is absolutely NO room for moving your arms, and its difficult to get out if you need to at a moment's notice.

You realize that nobody here besides yourself can answer that question, right? We have no idea what your stature is, or how high/low your car sits. I know that my Mustang sits low enough that I wouldn't even think of attempting any work under the car without raising the car first, but I have no idea what your situation is.

I can't even touch my oil bolt, let alone chance my filter.

For the transmission you have to drop the fluid pan.

go to O'Reillys and get the jack/stands combo for $50. Best deal you'll ever get.

If you were closer I would let you borrow mine just so you don't hurt yourself, LOL.
