Horible gas mileage

So lately my car has been getting TERRIBLE gas mileage. All i have done to it engine wise is true duals, AM cold air intake, and bama 87 street tune and im getting no more then 200 miles out of a tank, so whats up? I just cleaned my air filter with the K&N recharge kit. Could it be plugs/wires, or fuel filter or what? I just want to get this fixed because with only having 200 miles to a tank i feel like im driving a full size truck

Thats about what I get in the city...although I fill up at around a 1/4 tank left. If I ran it empty I'd probably get 230-240.
I have a lead foot though.

I get 270 WITH a lead foot. Staying out of throttle and shifting at 2500 I can get 320 when the light comes on.

Check the plugs and see how they look, make sure wires are tight and conductive. Clean the MAF, any CELs?

Clean MAF
Check TPS Sensor
Clean IAC Valve
Change Fuel Filter
Maybe try a different tune w / different octane

change your plugs and fuel filter...it's a whole $20 job for it all and even if it doesn't fix the issue. i bet your car needs it

i got 21 when i filled up today. but i shift at 2k and stay out of the throttle. although my car seems to not car how i drive. i still get 20 >.<

i'm getting shit gas mileage too. Replaced plugs/fuel filter/air filter and still am only getting ~200 a tank. probably not even. I do tend to have a lead foot. Gas pedal mod ftw, lmao.

haha i use like 10% throttle at most on that tank of gas. although while i was in mexico visiting my essay's some honda pulled up beside me revving. My mind said "don't" but my heart was screaming "BITCH PLEASE!!" and i found out my car has 0 traction. also, people were being douches whilei was trying to get on the highway while in mexico attempting to get back to the states.

but i won lol XD but it really wasnt a race because it was right before a really charp turn as you get off of the interstate. lets just say she didn't know how FWD cars worked around corners XD (she was actually racing though)

Dude I tried everything that I could possibly think of... Nothing helped... Lol

Plugs, fuel filter, oil change, seafoam, etc.

All I have is duals, air intake, 91 tune...

my car also feels slow as hell lately. (slower than usual.. lol) took the machs off and put on the stockers and felt next to nothing different.

Get a tuner bro.

I tried switching the wheels from saleens to stockers and boy my car FEELS lighter!

If you switch stock tune - race tune - stock again... You'll feel the difference for sure. As far as gas mileage... I don't think the tuner helps like it says on the item description.

I'm planning on selling the car and getting a GT ~next spring/summer. So i'm not sure if a tuner would be worth buying. I've even got springs c/c plates and steering rack bushings that i'm not going to be using since i'm most likely selling the car.

I'm pretty much stuck with the v6... If I ever get another car, it would most likely be an SUV... No more mustang for me.

COMPLETE Tune up
Carefull driving habbits

Autos = SHIT mpg
5speed = Less shit for mpg

No car is the same but im going to have to question Bama's tunning when it comes to MPG. No experience to compare tunes though so idk

I uh, dont remember much about my "stock" mpg

But w/ tune and 3.73s. I was looking at about 16c 18hw

Now w/ my N/A build and dyno tune, if Im nice to the pedal Ill get 16/17c and 19/20hw. But "normal" driving I get about 18/19hw and 16c.
